With similar density and stiffness to koa, Claro walnut offers a slightly more present midrange, crisp trebles and a woody, warm low end that matures over time. An ensemble of luxurious wood and shell appointments begins with a single-ring rosette with an abalone frame, cocobolo fields and a Faceted design, continuing with cocobolo/abalone S-Curve fretboard inlays, a cocobolo/abalone Ocean Vine bridge inlay, a mother-of-pearl peghead logo, black/white/abalone edge trim, a beveled cocobolo armrest, a cocobolo heel cap, and cocobolo soundhole and body binding. Other details include a full-body natural gloss finish, Gotoh 510 antique chrome tuners with cocobolo buttons, dark-stained bone bridge pins with red Australian opal dots, and black/white/black purfling on the back, sides, rosette and soundhole. This build ships with ES2 electronics, TaylorSense and a brown deluxe hardshell case.
