In the creation of this drum kit, our aim was to forge not just an instrument, but a masterpiece. We envisioned a creation that would be at home in an art gallery, yet robust and magnificent enough to take center stage. We chose DW's maple/mahogany shell – beloved for its rich and comprehensive tone – as the foundation. The striking appearance of Candy Stripe Padauk caught our eye, and when we learned it could be enhanced with a layer of transparent sparkle, we realized we had stumbled upon something extraordinary. A subtle hint of pearlescent ruby red was infused into the natural lacquer, bestowing the drums with an enchanting glint that dances over their surface. The outcome is an unparalleled drum set, crafted to capture and command attention with its singular beauty.
