Handcrafted in our California Custom Shop from North American Maple, this snare delivers the warmth, projection, and versatility that have made the Performance Series a staple for drummers across genres. Built with a 10-ply HVX shell, it offers a powerful, punchy fundamental with plenty of body and articulation. A 45-degree back-cut bearing edge enhances sensitivity and response, while DW’s trusted hardware completes the package: quarter-sized turret lugs, a MAG throw-off, True-Pitch tension rods, and triple-flange counter hoops for reliable tuning and crisp attack. This is the only Performance Series snare offered in the legendary Broken Glass finish, making it the perfect complement to the limited 4-piece kit or a standout addition to any collection.
