The Performance Series is handcrafted in Oxnard, California from 100% North American Hard Rock Maple. These drums utilize DW’s groundbreaking shell construction and drum hardware to deliver you a complete instrument.
North American Maple Shells:
All Performance Series shells are built with DW’s patented HVX technique, which features 100% Maple plies with grains oriented in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal patterns for low, punchy fundamentals.
Bearing Edge:
HVX shells are precision-cut with 45-degree (toms) and 60-degree (bass and snare) edges. These edges provide tonality and sustain from your toms, and depth and punch from your bass and snare.
Hardware:
Performance Series lugs offer a quarter-sized version of the iconic turret design. All Performance Series hardware is available exclusively in Chrome.
