When we opened the case this guitar instantly became the topic of conversation. The top is so unique and the combination of these particular woods excited us. We plugged it into a Suhr Badger with a Suhr extension cab/ warehouse speaker. It has such a quality cut through butter yet stay creamy tone that we had to get our good friend Steve to do the video demo. (Check it out!) The combination of maple and swamp ash has no problem junpling out of the mix whether your shredding or riding on top of the bass or keyboard. Its extremely versatile with the easy turn of the tone knob and bonus feature tone knob coil tap. The jumbo stainless steel frets matched with the cocobolo fretboard give you warm mid range sustain that help make this guitar a total tone machine. The unmatched playability and intonation is another top of the line quality perk Suhr has become known for.
