This Suhr Custom Class T with a Quilt Maple top and Pau Ferro neck represents some of Suhr's most elite work. A very fine guitar visually, the wood knobs and pickguard furthering separate it from much of the Suhr line. The Pau Ferro neck is not only a uniquely beautifully neck, but has a comfort and smoothness to it that is unique to any other neck wood being used today. The 5-way pickup selector has authentic coil-tapped sounds which are usable to replicate the sound and feel of a single-coil instrument. A pickup position that stands out to me on this Custom Classic T is the position in which combines the inner coils of both pickups which creates in my opinion an ideal sound for rhythm guitar. Noticing the use of Aldrich pickups I've found that these have a very present and punchy sound all while retaining clarity on cleans. This guitar has an especially warm sound for a T-style guitar and exudes the utmost playability.
