LSL Instruments Saticoy - Black
Another step back in time. When LsL decided to make this kind of guitar they figured that they would start with the beginning; 1954. They were lucky enough to get their hands on a real holy-grail kind of guitar that was loaned to them. It was number 1055 and she was and still is a honey of a guitar.
They worked hard to get that same, vintage tone and feel with a few improvements along the way. The body shape is slightly different and sexier. Smooth, hand-shaped contours make for a smoother, more flowing shape.
Saticoy models also have the lower tone knob controlling the tone on the bridge pickup alone while the middle tone knob controls both the middle and bridge pickups.
The Saticoy is a worthy and true example of a vintage sound and feel that only comes with gigantic price tags. And even if you were lucky enough to have one of these, you wouldn't want to be yanking it into the dark, sticky-floored bars. The goal was to make a guitar that would be greatenough to attract some of the best players around.
