Hook the R24 to your Mac or Windows computer via USB2.0 and either transfer wave files over for backup or further editing fun in the provided Cubase or your favorite DAW software, or record to the software directly through the R24, which becomes your personal 8 in/2 out USB2.0 interface. The R24 also functions as a multichannel controller, eliminating the need for having your hand on the mouse all day. Need to trigger samples? You can use the multi-function pads to either lay down your own beats with the integrated drum machine or load in samples, like the 1 GB that come with the R24 from Big Fish Audio and 500MB from Grammy winning drummer Peter Erskine. Other cool features include 5 hours of operation on 6 AA batteries and a 2GB SD card, with support up to a 32GB SD, that’s 100 hours of recording time.
