The '68 Reverse Stratocaster Special (2001-2002) is the 2nd incarnation of 1999s Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Stratocaster. Fender discontinued production of the Voodoo Stratocaster in 1999, but in 2001 introduced this model which, for all intents and purposes, is a Voodoo Strat minus the laser-engraved Hendrix neckplate. These models also have serial numbers that begin with “TN7”.
